Our fabulous Train Campaign support team. Join them, it’s easy!
There’s a hard working team driving the Train Campaign project forward but we’re always looking for more hands and knowledge.

Karen Christensen, President
Karen Christensen is an American entrepreneur, environmentalist, and founder of the Train Campaign. Karen was senior academic editor of the Encyclopedia of Community (SAGE) and the Business of Sustainability (Berkshire) and is the author of popular environmental books including Home Ecology and The Armchair Environmentalist. She is the owner and CEO of Berkshire Publishing, a member of the National Committee on United States-China Relations, and a trustee of the University of Pennsylvania Press.

Jamie Mullen
Jamie Mullen has been designing more livable landscapes since 1980 when he established JML Landforms, a landscape design and construction business, which he continues to operate today. He has served on the New Marlborough Planning Board since 2000, and the Berkshire Regional Planning Commission since 2002. He was the chair of both groups from 2003 to 2010 and 2009 to 2012, respectively.

Clark Wallace
Clark Wallace brings a lifelong interest in sustainable transportation to the Train Campaign. For more than a decade, he helped protect important landscapes in perpetuity at a national conservation organization. More recently, he joined the clean energy industry, and helps businesses reduce their energy costs. He is excited to be a part of the Campaign to help bring more transportation options to Berkshire County and neighboring areas, and looks forward to a day when the Berkshires and nearby metropolitan areas are linked by frequent, reliable rail options.

Eva Morrison, Communications Intern
Eva Morrison has loved trains for as long as they can remember. Eva is a rising senior at Haverford College in Haverford, PA, majoring in linguistics with a minor in urban studies. A longtime resident of the Boston area, Eva is thrilled to be working with an organization that prioritizes access to rail service for people in the western half of their state, and hopes to continue advocating for improved public transit across Massachusetts and the USA for many years beyond this summer!
